The Solomon Bunch~ Family Movie Giveaway!

family friendly movie

I am excited to tell you about a cute new family friendly movie called The Solomon Bunch by Slingshot Pictures.   It is being released today!  We got to watch it as a family and really enjoyed it.  It is a sweet story with a wonderful message.  I love finding good clean movies that teach my kids a message.  There is so much media these days that I do not feel comfortable allowing my kids (or myself for that matter) to watch. So, anytime we find good movies, we love to watch them together!  This one will not disappoint you.

Here is a little synopsis of the movie:

A group of elementary-school children in small-town Georgia form a special club with the goal of becoming as wise as Solomon. Almost before they begin, however, they stumble upon a man in the woods who is speaking in strange voices--and he sounds dangerous! They immediately take it upon themselves to investigate and soon find themselves in trouble.
Through misguided efforts and a series of embarrassing failures, they eventually learn a few lessons the hard way. The moral of the story is that it is a foolish person that jumps to conclusions before getting all the facts--something King Solomon "wisely" warned about more than 2,000 years ago.

Here is a trailer for your viewing pleasure:

To go along with the movie, they have created a study guide to help your kids learn more about Solomon as well as some fun activities related to the movie.

I am SO thrilled to be able to give away two copies of this movie!  I have a Rafflecopter form below to enter if you are interested in winning this movie.

  4. Our kids at home range from 5-17. It's hard finding movies that are safe for the little ones and engaging for the older ones.
