Craft Kits in a Bag work the same way as the others. There are three different e-books and I was given the opportunity to try Book 1. It has 32 different crafts. You can make them all for your own family, or do it swap style. To organize a swap, you find some friends/neighbors and each person chooses one activity to make for the whole group. For example: if you have 20 participants, you make 20 of the same bag to share with everyone. Then you all get together and exchange the kits. It is a VERY fun thing to do!
This time, I did not organize a swap, we just decided to make them on our own. It has been just as much fun. We just do one here and there when we feel up for it. The nice thing about it is that they are simple to assemble and mostly require supplies that I have on hand- or that are very easy to find. I love the books because they have all of the instructions and supply lists. They make it so easy!
The books sell for $15. Right now, through the 31st of January the preschool and craft kits are 30% off. Along with these topics, they also have science, math, reading games, and travel kits. We really enjoy the kits we have used and I highly recommend them!! One of the best things, is that once the kits are assembled, it is so easy to pull an activity together- you kids can do most of them on their own! It's great for those times when you need a little instant entertainment for the kids.
Here is one of our favorite activities from this book: Stick-Tac-Toe.
It is a really simple activity. You use contact paper, popsicle sticks, and some laminated X's and O's. Then...have fun playing tic-tac-toe on a sticky surface!
