Soapy Science

We did a REALLY fun science experiement this week with a bar of soap.

All you have to do is put a bar of soap into the microwave for about a minute and a half and it will grow and grow and grow into a GIANT SOAP MONSTER (as my kids called it).

We painted ours after they cooled down.  They came out looking like dragons.  It kind of reminded me of looking at shapes in the clouds- you can turn them in all directions and see new things.

This is such a simple way to experiment.  Try it out!

Don't forget to stop by and give me a vote in the Best New Homeschool Blog Category.  Voting goes through the 18th of Nov.
